Empowering Innovation and Collaboration Across Government through Digital Connectivity
Overview
The National Innovation Portal, developed by Inflack and funded by UNDP for the a2i Program, is a centralized digital platform to promote innovation and collaboration across government agencies. It enables Chief Innovation Officers (CIOs) and Innovation Officers (IOs) to submit new ideas, discuss improvements, share knowledge, and manage innovation workflows—all through a secure and user-friendly web system.
This portal helps build a smarter and more transparent public service by ensuring that good ideas are not lost and collaboration happens in one central place.
Client / Project Context
Under the leadership of a2i and with support from UNDP, the Government of Bangladesh recognized the need to simplify and digitize how innovation is managed across ministries and departments. Previously, officers had no structured way to track or share ideas, which made it difficult to encourage change or measure impact.
With this in mind, Inflack was tasked to build a platform where public officials could document, evaluate, and promote innovative ideas that improve service delivery.

- Limited technical access for contributors at different levels
- Difficult to manage innovation feedback, content, and user access securely
Our Solution
Inflack developed a scalable and secure innovation platform with modern architecture. The portal supports content posting, idea evaluation, discussion, administrative control, and multi-level user access in both web and mobile versions. It also includes a landing page and content management system (CMS) to update banners, posts, and innovation highlights.
Core Features:
- Idea Submission & Review: Officers can submit and track ideas with categorization and commenting.
- Knowledge Sharing: Blogs, articles, and discussions support collective learning.
- User Role Hierarchy: Role-based dashboard access for Users, IOs, CIOs, and Admins.
- Search & Filters: Quickly locate posts or ideas using smart filtering and keyword search.
- Secure Commenting & Moderation: Users can interact with posts; admins can manage feedback.
- CMS Integration: Admins can update content, banners, and landing data with an embedded editor.

- CMS: Integrated custom CMS with text/image upload, post scheduling, and admin editing tools
