Overview

The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) is responsible for keeping the skies safe by regulating all construction activities within 40 kilometers of any airport. To protect airspace and avoid risks to aviation, any structure built near an airport requires a height clearance certificate from CAAB.

Earlier, this process was completely manual — from application to approval. Landowners, real estate developers, and government agencies faced long wait times, repeated visits, and unclear procedures. To solve these issues, Inflack developed a digital Height Clearance Certificate Management System — enabling online applications, real-time location checks via maps, automated approvals, and instant certificate downloads.

Client / Project Context

The system was launched to support safe construction and better compliance around airport zones. We started this project with a major challenge: many new commercial high-rises were planned near airports, but users had no easy way to apply for height clearance or track their application.

Another challenge was measuring the proposed height accurately and calculating payment based on height category. Previously, the process was manual, inconsistent, and lacked traceability. Our team worked closely with CAAB to solve this by introducing automated height-based calculations, digital payments, and instant certificate generation.

The system is now actively used by CAAB through a well-structured admin panel, a CMS-managed landing page for public updates, and a user dashboard for applicants. The solution ensures fast, transparent, and secure processing of height clearance requests.
